Just Us Girls #843 -- DIE Week

Join us! It is DIE week at Just Us Girls.  Carol is challenging us to use a Halloween-themed die in our cards.  Easy peasy.  I used three fun dies assembled atop Halloween DSP with text from The Legend of Sleepy Hollow.  The bat encloses a small chocolate nugget! I made a dozen to give out to friends at Halloween.

I also made a half dozen of this cute ghost parade... a fairly new die from Simon Says Stamp. The background DSP is the same as above, embossed with spider webs. I added a single-layer sentiment, a cute spider from another set, and gold stars.

Check out our fabulous October guest designer, Carrie Sheridan. Please welcome her and check out her fabulous work over at Carrie's Custom Cards!

Also check out the design team.  These ladies work hard to inspire you each week.  Drop by their blogs and leave them a little love.

Enjoy!  I am looking forward to your inspired creations in the gallery.

Both cards are so fun Elizabeth! The big ghost is so cute and the googley eyes make him look scared...it made me smile. Love them both so much!

Your bat card is fang-tastic - and how sweet that a chocolate nugget is tucked inside the wings. So fun! Your second card is a Halloween delight as well. Plenty of smiles guaranteed when recipients receive these fun makes.

Two fun designs - LOVE the bright pink and purple ribbon on the first with that fun bat with his wings folded up (I have that die too! making Halloween cards for some grand nieces and nephews just with the bat - but haven't touched it since?!) The sentiment is so fun in the pink! And then you have a whole team of trick or treaters on the second - so spooky cute! Julia xx

Fabulous cards, Elizabeth. Making the bat a candy giver outer is such a great idea and those trick or treaters are as cute as can be.

I wondered if that bat was hiding something - how clever! Love the bright neon pink sentiment and the ghost parade on the second card is super cute too!
