Day of the Month Challenge #30 Book Lovers Day

At the Day of the Month Challenge, we are celebrating BOOK LOVERS DAY.  I created a card for one of my book club members.  The primary set used was Stacey Yacula's Cozy Companions (My Favorite Things); the sentiment is from My Favorite Things Our Story.  On scrap cardstock, I stamped and masked the images, Copic-colored, and fussy cut. The sentiment was stamped on the kraft card base, and a grounding line was added with a Sharpie, then the fussy cut image was adhered.

Double D Summer Gingham Challenge & Day of the Month Card Club #29 Cow Appreciation Day

This week at Double D, we are creating cards with GINGHAM.  At The Day of the Month Club, we are celebrating COW APPRECIATION DAY.  The card I made is important to me, and incorporates both challenges.  My brother is turning 60 soon.  Several years ago, he retired from contracting to run a small ranch in central Florida, raising organic Black Angus (about 100 cows).  He loves ranching, takes his new career seriously, and runs a beautiful spread.  I made this card for his birthday.  The farm image is from Papertrey Ink's Summer Hills, stamped on kraft and Copic-colored.  The die cut Black Angus are from Papertrey Ink's On the Farm set. The sentiment is from Papertrey Ink's Barnyard Sentiments.  Images are set on Amuse Artstamps black gingham cardstock.  The final touch was a bit of hemp cord.

Day of the Month Card Club #28 Best Friend Day

This month at Day of the Month Card Club, we are celebrating BEST FRIEND DAY.   I used the best friends from Stamping Bella I Heart You. The image is copic colored and fussy cut.  The fabulous sentiment is from Kelley Purkey I Like You.  The card layout, again,  channels my inner Alice {Little} Wonderland.
