Just Us Girls #812 -- ANYTHING GOES STENCIL Week

Join us! It is
ANYTHING GOES STENCIL week at Just Us Girls.  Ina is challenging us to use a stencil in our card creations this week.
I used a KWerner stencil this week.  There are two flowers in the Long Line Roses set.  I used the smaller flower and stamped it four times along the edges of the card, then used the layering stencil to color in the images. To finish, I embossed the panel edges, added a layered, vellum-backed sentiment, and several gold dots.  So very easy.

The above flowers are on my usual favored white card base; however, I continue to play with colored card bases for effect.  Below are coral roses on a pale coral card base. Which do you prefer?  I made a half dozen cards for donation.

Meet our featured guest designer for February, Denise Morgans. Please welcome her and check out her fabulous work over at The Crafty Den

Also, check out the design team.  These ladies work hard to inspire you each week.  Drop by their blogs and leave them a little love.

Enjoy!  I am looking forward to your inspired creations in the gallery.

Elizabeth, I'm always drawn to white to give a good burst of brightness - but I love what happens with inks when blended onto colored cardstock - or even kraft!
Both gorgeous!

Love how your stenciling colors look on both card bases! I could not pick a favorite because they are equally pretty!

Ooohhh, I like BOTH versions Elizabeth! These are pretty. I don't know if I've stenciled on colored cardstock, but I need to give it a go!

Gorgeous cards Elizabeth. I do love the white as it makes those beautifully coloured flowers just pop. Nice surprise and result too.

Both cards are wonderful, Elizabeth. I'm glad you branched out and tried the stenciling on colored cardstock to inspire us all to give it a try.
