Join us! It is MOODBOARD week at Just Us Girls. Lisa is challenging us to be inspired by the moodboard above when creating our cards this week.
I looked at this moodboard and saw lots of blooms in pink! To me, the inlay die I used resembles a fleur-de-lis, and I love it. I decided to make the coverplate in all pinks. I die-cut the coverplate on five A2 sheets (yielding five cards with no waste). In general, I use a dryer sheet behind each die cut to keep the pieces together. I line the background panels with 4.25" Scortape, then reinsert all the small pieces...a simple process. The final touches are a layered sentiment in gold Mirracard and gold glitter gems for the flower centers.
Meet our featured guest designer for February, Denise Morgans. Please welcome her and check out her fabulous work over at The Crafty Den!

Card Queen! Love the inlay
Love this inlaid design in those gorgeous colors Elizabeth! All of the cards you made are beautiful. I plan to remember your technique the next time I make an inlaid card, too.
