Join us! It is DIE week at Just Us Girls. Sue is challenging us to make a card using dies that incorporate LUCK and/or GREEN.
When I first saw this Poppystamp pinpoint frame, I immediately thought that it would be a perfect patchwork quilt. I am always looking for cover dies that use scrap DSP. This die is not perfect; my die cut poorly, needing numerous shims and pass-throughs. This is not what I call a good inlay situation. I made six duplicates of this card, but it was a long, tedious session. To finish, I added a layered, vellum-backed sentiment and gold dots.
Meet our featured guest designer for March, Milla. Please welcome her and check out her fabulous work over at Mustesormi!

Enjoy! I am looking forward to your inspired creations in the gallery.

Wow! Awesome inlaying!
Applauding your perseverance with the inlaying of 6 cards. Even though the process was time-consuming and a bit frustrating, the results make it worthwhile. People will be thrilled to receive your eye-catching works of art.

I think you know the Penelope pinpoint frame is a favorite for a sweet reason! Gosh, I just love the way you've used it here, Elizabeth. What an awesome card!
Goodness what a work of love and determination! I was wondering how you got all those different patterns - and glad to hear you at least got lots of cards made! It IS very pretty and I like the big sentiment on top! Julia xx
I'm sorry this was such a difficult card to make, Elizabeth, but in the end it was worth it. As a quilter, I love the mix of patterns that were inlaid and I will now look at some of my coverplates in a new way.
Looks simply fabulous to me Elizabeth. Love it and the big bold green sentinent.
This looks amazing with your mix of patterned papers inlaid into that background die! You have the patience of a saint!
I just love the patterned papers and that cover die so much!
