Join us! It is CLEAN and SIMPLE week at The Paper Players. Think lots of white space, minimal layers and embellishments. Jay Dee is challenging us to create a CAS card that is postage or postal themed, in other words, "Postman Bring Me A Letter".
I used a Stamp Market set that helps you create an A2 mailbox enclosure for a gift card. I realize now after posting the picture that you can't see the pull tab that holds the Starbucks card. I backed the mailbox with white cardstock and created the pull tab in the same (with "pull here" stamped on the tab). A bit of double-sided tape adheres the gift card to the tab which slides easily between the legs of the mailbox. The mailbox could be adhered to an A2 card base, or if backed (as I did), used as a standalone card.
The set included the pieces to create the small envelopes. I added a small sentiment on one envelope. The primary sentiment is comprised of the layered Sending, and the white-embossed Happy Mail. I also stamped a small snail on the leg of the mailbox for fun.
As always, I made multiples for donation.
1. Create a new paper project
Enjoy! I am looking forward to your inspired creations in the gallery.
