Join us! It is ANYTHING GOES STENCIL week at Just Us Girls. Carol M is challenging us to use a stencil in our card creations this week. I am using KWerner's new Festive Fun stencils. These stencils came out for Christmas but I think you can definitely use them for birthdays by changing up the colors and sentiment. I picked six bright dye inks to work with, and finished with a layered sentiment backed by vellum and gems. The vellum did have to be fussy cut since no shadow die is available for this sentiment. I think the Christmas tree now looks like a party hat...don't you? I made six of this card for donation to Little Birthday Angels, a local agency who ensures every child, who might not otherwise, has a birthday celebration.

What a fun, bright, cheerful card - and a fabulous transformation of a 'festive' stencil into a birthday version. The trees certainly do look like party hats. Wonderful inspiration for this week's challenge!

So fabulous! Love this bright and cheerful card 😊
This card is so much fun with the patterns and the Christmas trees turned party hats! You cold colors added the festive feels. Imagine pastels for a baby card? Black and gold for New Year's? Great stencil inspo for our challenge.
What a fun and festive way to say happy birthday! This is bright and happy!
I love that bold and fun background paired with the big sentiment! I really like the use of the vellum as the shadow, too. Great birthday card!
Turning a Christmas stencil into a birthday card is what I call stretching your products, Elizabeth. This is like a party on a card with all the brilliant colors.
Fabulously creative and in such bold beautiful colours Elizabeth. Love the big sentiment and the fussy cut vellum. Super stencil!
