The Paper Players PP706 - A Color Challenge from Elizabeth

Join us! It is
COLOR week at The Paper Players.  I am hosting my first challenge here at The Paper Players.  I am so excited. I am challenging you to use the primary colors RED, BLUE an YELLOW.
This week, I made an inspirational card for cancer patients.  The background is stenciled in gray. The POW outburst was created with layered die cuts. The central image is Copic cut, fussy cut, and foam mounted. The final addition was a white embossed sentiment.

Continuing with my New Year's resolution, I made an additional card for donation to Friends After Diagnosis, an organization supporting cancer patients.  In addition to their many patient programs, therapy and service, staff members often send messages of support to local patients.

Check out our fabulous guest designers as well as the rest of the design team.  These ladies work hard to inspire you each week.  Drop by their blogs and leave them a little love.

Enjoy!  I am looking forward to your inspired creations in the gallery.

BAM POW is just right - what a lot of impact in this card! The white on black sentiment is just right, while the dotty grey stencilled background really pops out the main character. What a wonderful card! Great challenge colours. :-)

I love this card, Elizabeth! First of all, "piggies" are a personal favorite, and your caped crusader is wonderful. A powerful card created for its intended purpose and will certainly be appreciated by the recipient. Thanks for sharing, Jolanda.

OK - now thats the best interpretation of when pigs fly I've ever seen. As a vegetarian, I am rather fond of pigs - and not bacon! Your little SuperPig really makes me smile. Perfectly powerful and uplifting card for the audience.
