Sue is challenging us to gain inspiration from the word HOPE at Just Us Girls this week. This is a great word! I made a very simple card which I love. First, the background DSP is scrap. Love it when I can use scraps. From there is there is a layered die cut, a stamped sentiment, gems. Easy peasy.
Continuing with my New Year's resolution, I made five additional cards for donation to Friends After Diagnosis, an organization supporting cancer patients. In addition to their many patient programs, therapy and service, staff members often send messages of support to local patients.
Check out our fabulous guest designer for September, Nance Salkeld. Please welcome her and check out her fabulous work over at Soul Stampin' Designs!
Also check out the design team. These ladies work hard to inspire you each week. Drop by their blogs and leave them a little love.
Enjoy! I am looking forward to your inspired creations in the gallery.

What a pretty card Elizabeth! That die cut sentiment is so pretty and goes so well with the background paper! Where does everyone get the pretty papers? I'm always looking for beautiful florals.
This card is gorgeous, Elizabeth. It is so simple, rustic yet elegant. That paper is gorgeous. I found it and put it right in a cart. Wonderful for a quick and beautiful card. I love the placement of that wonderful die cut sentiment too. A wonderful tae on the challenge word.
I do adore easy cards, especially when they turn out fabulous 😊
This was the perfect way to use those scraps of pretty paper! Marvelous cards, Elizabeth!
Fabulous use of your "scrap". That wood background with the flowers is gorgeous and I love the big die cut hope paired with the stamped "always have". Beautiful card.
That DSP is perfect with the sentiment, Elizabeth. So lovely!
Simply beautiful DP Elizabeth. Love the big hope die.
You've transformed your 'scrap' patterned paper into beautiful cards; the floral and woodgrain are ever so pretty, especially paired with your die cut hope. Wonderful inspiration for our challenge.

This is so pretty and lovely, Elizabeth. That is an elegant hope die and I love it in pink! That is so great you donate these to such a great organization for cancer patients. Feel free to case my card as many times as you want! I'm glad it will add some comfort to more. Hugs!
