Join us! It is MOODBOARD week at Just Us Girls. Lisa is challenging us to be inspired by the moodboard above in creating our cards this week. Don't laugh. I managed to see Christmas in this moodboard. Of course, I am desparate to begin to biuld the Christmas stash. I actually made 15 copies of this card for all the members of two book clubs to which I belong. I started with the apple and the books, and added the critters from the Mama Elephant set. Lots of masking, Copic coloring and fussy cutting later, I had the bits for my bookshelf. Glossy Accents was added to the glass lenses. While drying, I die cut the background and quick strips for the shelf. I love the sentiment (from an adorable set); I stamped it on the card base. After I finished assembling the card, I thought I should have done an elf on a bookshelf. Maybe next year...
