Join us! It is SKETCH week at The Paper Players. Jan is challenging us to create a card that uses the sketch above. The circle can be any shape and it is okay to add a border around the whole card. As many know, I struggle with sketches. But they are so important to expand my creativity. I am deep into building my stash for Christmas. Decembers are hard to get anything done now that I am back in school... but given my advanced age, I have learned the lession of planning ahead!
In my never-ending quest to keep all sketches CAS, my pine branches form the rectangular background for my ornament, and a foiled sentiment the tag. Most of the products I used are Memory Box. I absolutely love the Memory Box Christmas DSP... all foiled in great colors. The foiled sentiments are so perfect; foiled on really thick cardstock in several different fonts. I might love these products because I don't "foil" but have found a number of shortcuts to still enjoy the shiny effect. Memory Box also used to make micro gems... I wish they still did because I am down to my last few sheets. The gems are 1mm in diameter, and are the perfect little shine. I also used Stardream metallic cardstock and gold Mirracard for even more shine!

Elizabeth, this is gorgeous! I love the pretty DSP! The shiny gold ornament just pops. The greenery is such a creative way to interrupt the sketch!
