Join us! It is Clean and Simple (CAS) week at The Paper Players. Think lots of white space, minimal layers and embellishments. LeAnne is challenging us to create a CAS card that includes things with wheels -- cars, bus, bicycle. My choice of wheels might be a bit less traditional. I choose to create baby cards with die cuts of vintage wood pull toys. I pulled buttons and scrap cardstock from my stash to create these sweet cards.
I made a dozen of these cards for donation to the First Baptist New Mother Initiative at my hometown hospital. First Baptist women put together baby baskets for every new mother, and a personal wish is added to each card.
Check out our fabulous design team. These ladies work hard to inspire you each week. Drop by their blogs and leave them a little love.
Here's a quick recap of our challenge rules:
1. Create a new paper project
2. Upload your creation to your blog with a link back to us and provide a direct link to the post featuring your challenge submission.
3. Please link your card to no more than four challenges in total.
Enjoy! I am looking forward to your inspired creations in the gallery.

Elizabeth, this is so fun! I love that you made baby cards for this theme. Any Mama would cherish this special card. Love the background and all the toys. Esp. the whale-- unexpected! Have a fantastic week!
Your card is so cute & I'm sure every mother really appreciated it! I love how you strung the animals together with twine & used buttons for wheels! Genius! Thanks for sharing!
Eeeek---this is SO cute! And how sweet that you made multiples to share! Those little pull-toys are adorable. I love that you thought outside the wheel box, too!
From the sweet patterned paper to the button wheels, these pull toys are adorable. How wonderful that you created a dozen of these cards to donate to your hometown hospital. They are perfect! Have a wonderful week!
What a great take on things with wheels Elizabeth - the button detail on your pull toys is so fun! The perfect card to celebrate a new arrival.
This is just soooo adorable! The way you've added in button wheels is perfect, the choice of paper is spot on in terms of colour, pattern size and vintage vibe. They couldn't be more perfect and what a great initiative to donate to.
OMG, Elizabeth - the moment I first say your card I was just swooning over the cuteness! Brilliant design and well-deserved recipients to share a little happiness with new mothers.
