Join us! It is WORD week at Just Us Girls. Vicki is challenging us to use the word FRUIT in creating cards this week. What fun! I am using an older, layering, lemon die set. The assembled lemons (plus a few flowers and leaves) are mounted on a black gingham card base with a layered sentiment. Easy peasy.
This card was so easy to make that I made 5 duplicates for donation to Operation Gratitude, an organization supporting our Military and first responders letting them know that what they do matters. One of the handmade items they request is handmade cards for their care packages so recipients can write their loved ones.
Check out our fabulous guest designer for May, Rosemary Dennis. Please welcome her and check out her fabulous work over at Hey There Rosigirl!
Also check out the design team. These ladies work hard to inspire you each week. Drop by their blogs and leave them a little love.
Here's a quick recap of our challenge rules:
1. Create a new paper project (no back dating please)
2. Upload your card to your blog or a public photo gallery. Please copy and use our challenge graphic on your post.
3. Link your project in Linky Tools directly to your card. If your card is in an online gallery, please tag with the current challenge number, e.g. JUGS123
3. Please limit your entries for our challenge to 3. You may enter in as many other challenges as you want.
Enjoy! I am looking forward to your inspired creations in the gallery.

Awesome lemon card!
I love that black gingham background for those beautiful lemons Elizabeth! The pops of red and green are the perfect details too! Great card!
I've always loved this LF lemon set and you've created such a cute card with it!
What could be cuter than bright yellow lemons and teensy black gingham?? Makes me pucker up, Elizabeth!

Love your colourful lemons and pretty flowers Elizabeth. Great background showing them off and with your big sentiment too.
I love your fresh, pretty lemons against that black and white gingham background! Who wouldn't smile receiving this beauty.
Your lemon card is fabulous inspiration for our fruit challenge. The black + white gingham and little blooms are pretty special touches.

As I pull out things to take north with me next week, I had to add the LF lemons after seeing your card, Elizabeth. That yellow pops against the black and white check.
Fabulous take on the theme! Love the cute gingham background.
