Join us! It is WORD week at Just Us Girls. Bobby is challenging us to incorporate the word GREEN in our cards this week. "Green"... what an interesting prompt. Initially I thought I would use one of the fun hand dies with a shamrock for St. Patrick's, but I need cards for my donation stash. So next I was thinking about the Super Bowl... and thus my card. I set my footballer in a "green" field with an inspirational sentiment. The image was Copic colored and fussy cut, placed atop random scraps of green cardstock. To clean up the card edges, I ran the A2 panel through my die cutter with a stitched edge die before mounting to the card base.
I made three additional cards for donation to Friends After Diagnosis, an organization supporting cancer patients. In addition to their many patient programs, therapy and service, staff members often send messages of support to local patients.

Such a cute and fun card. It’s even cuter in real life 😉
He's a cutie patootie and I like all of the fun grass you've given him to run around in!
What they said! I was going to say 'cutie patootie' and what a clever field made of patterned papers but it's been said so I'll just add what a wonderful card using lots of green, Elizabeth.
What a cutie and oh how I love the wonky patterned papers. Sentiment is so true!
OMG!! This is the CUTEST!! I LOVE that footballer. The little scene you created with the pattern paper is adorable.
That little football player is absolutely adorable and that quote/sentiment is perfect. Love the strips of patterned paper and how you created the field with them.
