HAPPY NEW YEAR!
and welcome to a new challenge at Just Us Girls!
Join us! It is time for this year's first challenge at Just Us Girls. We are adding a DIE week to our schedule. DIE week will have some limited parameters that will be set by the hostess. This week, Vicki is hosting our first DIE challenge and the first challenge of 2025. Vicki is challenging us to ANYTHING GOES with the use of dies in our card creations this week.
I love dies... and I especially love when dies are used for inlay. This coverplate was die cut from six different colors, then the colored petals were inlaid on each of the negative pieces. Of course, each negative was backed with 4.25" wide Scortape to facilitate the process. A layered sentiment and a few sequins completed the card. The six cards (I love multiples as well!) will be donated.
Check out our fabulous guest designer for January, Annette Elias. Please welcome her and check out her fabulous work over at The Viewing Box!
Also check out the design team. These ladies work hard to inspire you each week. Drop by their blogs and leave them a little love.
Enjoy! I am looking forward to your inspired creations in the gallery.

Wow! You had a lot of work doing not just one inlaid piece, but six!! Great idea and. pretty colors!
Wowee, this is heaps of fun with all of those bright colors! These were worth the extra effort you put into them, Elizabeth. Happy New Year!
You must have the patience of a saint! But glad you do because these are all fabulous! Great, fun, bright colors and love the touches of bling, too.
