Join us! It is COLOR week at The Paper Players. Ann is challenging us to use the colors Cherry Cobbler (red), Pretty Peacock (teal/turquoise), gold, and any neutrals (including black and white) in our cards. This week, I used a new coverplate from Pinkfresh. I love it... so fun! I backed the diecut with Stardream metallic gold cardstock to highlight the star cuts. Today's colors are built into the Pinkfresh berry branch (stamp, stencil die combo) with Distress Inks and gold embossing. The sentiment is die cut from gold matte cardstock and mount on vellum. The final touches included a bit of glitter on the berries and glitter dots.
My 2024 New Year resolution is to make at least one multiple of every challenge entry. In keeping with my resolution, I made six of this card, not for charity this time but for my Christmas stash. That's it for me... I actually stuck with my 2024 New Year resolution and it was successful. I made lots and lots of cards!
1. Create a new paper project
3. Please link your card to no more than four challenges in total.
Enjoy! I am looking forward to your inspired creations in the gallery.
Elizabeth

Gorgeous, Elizabeth! The Festive Grid cover plate is awesome. The touches of gold really make the berries stand out. I love the bold sentiment and the gold peeking through the stars. You definitely made my colors shine this week. Happy holidays!
That berry branch is so dainty and pretty, and it looks beautiful in the challenge colors! I love the cover plate die too, that might have to go on my wish list (my long wish list lol!). Elizabeth, I hope you have a wonderful time throughout the holidays!
