The Paper Players PP711 - A Color Challenge from Joanne

Join us! It is COLOR week at The Paper Players.  Joanne is challenging us to use all the shades of orange and brown in our cards.   I made a Halloween card.  The card base is sprayed with Carved Pumpkin and Walnut Stain. The door and stem are Copic colored kraft cardstock. The final touches were a layered sentiment in glossy black cardstock and lots of stars and sequins.

Continuing with my New Year's resolution, I made an additional card for donation to Operation Gratitude, an organization supporting our military and first responders letting them know that what they do matters. One of the handmade items they request is handmade cards for their care packages so recipients can write their loved ones.

Check out our fabulous guest designers as well as the rest of the design team.  These ladies work hard to inspire you each week.  Drop by their blogs and leave them a little love.

Enjoy!  I am looking forward to your inspired creations in the gallery.

What a darling card, Elizabeth! Love the ghost (with googly eyes!) peeking from behind the pumpkin and the look of the sprayed background. So fun!

A Halloween take on the colours is a nice variation. As always, your collection of bold sentiments is wonderful... and I've a real soft spot for that splattery blended background. :-)
