Join us! It is THEME week at The Paper Players. Jan is challenging us to make a card for "love is in the air". Think engagement, wedding, or anniversary. This card was motivated out of need... my mother needed a wedding card. This is a simple creation. The card base is embossed in roses. Foam mounted on the base are Pinkfresh washi die cuts, and a foiled sentiment. Final touch was a smattering of glitter dots.
This is the first time this year that I haven't made duplicates (no time)... but I think this is a special situation and I have not broken my New Year resolution. Right? :)
Check out our fabulous guest designers as well as the rest of the design team. These ladies work hard to inspire you each week. Drop by their blogs and leave them a little love.
Enjoy! I am looking forward to your inspired creations in the gallery.

Elizabeth, this is GORGEOUS! The embossed background adds so much texture and the hydrangea and roses are stunning! Such an elegant card! I love it! Have a great week!
What a spectacular wedding card! I love it and wish I'd made it! The embossed background, the sweet florals and simple sentiment add up to perfection in my book. And no, this doesn't break your resolution - this one was a special commission for your mum. :-)
This is stunning Elizabeth! That washi tape is so pretty and perfect for a wedding card (I made a birthday card with the pieces you sent me - also beautifully feminine!). The embossed base compliments perfectly too. No resolutions broken I think - especially since this was a special request! Thinking of you this week - stay safe and praying Milton spares you.
I am stunned that those gorgeous florals are washi tape! SO pretty! Hope you are all safe & sound down there in FL!
Absolutely gorgeous, Elizabeth! The washi die cuts are beautiful against the stunning embossed backdrop. A WOW card for sure! My thoughts are with you...
You and Jaydee were definitely on the same wavelength using the pretty PF washi floral die cuts! A beautiful CAS wedding card, Elizabeth!
I hope all is well and the Milton left you relatively unscathed. Keeping you in my thoughts.
Elizabeth, I bet your Mom was so proud to send this off. Those washi tape flowers are gorgeous against that fabulous background.
hugs
