The Paper Players PP707 - A CAS Challenge from Ann

Join us! It is
CAS (Clean & Simple) week at The Paper Players.  Ann is challenging us to create a CAS card focused on nature, specifically a plant or animal.
This week, think lots of white space. I created white space by die cutting a big, bold sentiment from my card base and leaving the letters inlaid.  I Copic-colored a small Mama Elephant critter and streamers.  The critter was fussy cut and mounted atop the die cut streamers, and gems added as a final touch.

Keeping with my New Year resolution, I made three copies of this card.  My goal in making this resolution was to have more cards to donate.  These cards are headed to Little Birthday Angels, a local agency who ensures every child, who might not otherwise, has a birthday celebration.

Check out our fabulous guest designers as well as the rest of the design team.  These ladies work hard to inspire you each week.  Drop by their blogs and leave them a little love.

Enjoy!  I am looking forward to your inspired creations in the gallery.

Elizabeth

Your array of giant die cut sentiments is astounding! This is another beauty. Love the streamers and the cute critter too. :-)

Oh my gosh...what a cute card, Elizabeth! I love how you created a bold inlaid sentiment and placed the perfectly colored critter and cake right where the "i" is. How awesome! The streamers and gems are the perfect accents. What a great card for my challenge this week!
