Just Us Girls #745 -- MOODBOARD Week

Ina is challenging us to gain inspiration from the moodboard above this week at Just Us Girls.  The possibilities are endless with florals.  I am using a NBUS die from the Stamp Market called the Flower Cart.  Next time I use this die, I need to raise the umbrella a little higher above the flowers.  Lesson learned.  As far as multi-layered dies, this one was very easy. Except for the gingham cardstock, I used scraps for everything. Small black gems are at the center of the wheel and top of the umbrella. The cart is mounted atop a detailed frame.

Continuing with my New Year's resolution, I made 3 additional cards for donation to Operation Gratitude, an organization supporting our Military and first responders letting them know that what they do matters. One of the handmade items they request is handmade cards for their care packages so recipients can write their loved ones.

Check out our fabulous guest designer for September, Nance Salkeld. Please welcome her and check out her fabulous work over at Soul Stampin' Designs

Also check out the design team.  These ladies work hard to inspire you each week.  Drop by their blogs and leave them a little love.

Enjoy!  I am looking forward to your inspired creations in the gallery.

This is lovely, Elizabeth. I love the cart and all those flowers. You didn't have a lot of room to work with the umbrella, but that frame is fabulous. Maybe put the umbrella over to top edge. It's still wonderful adn the colors ore very refreshing. I think it's fun that we were working in the opposite season to our own!
