The Paper Players PP699 - A CAS Challenge from Joanne

Join us! It is CAS (Clean & Simple) week at The Paper Players.  Joanne is challenging us to create a Clean & Simple BIRTHDAY card.  Remember lots of white space!   I used a couple of MFT dies; die cutting the sentiment and piñata in bright colors. I assembled the piñata, adding the secondary sentiments and a googly eye. The elements are mounted on an A2 card base with pearls and gems added as a final touch.

Continuing with my New Year's resolution, I made 3 additional cards for donation to Little Birthday Angels, a local agency who ensures every child, who might not otherwise, has a birthday celebration.

Check out our fabulous guest designers as well as the rest of the design team.  These ladies work hard to inspire you each week.  Drop by their blogs and leave them a little love.

Enjoy!  I am looking forward to your inspired creations in the gallery.

Elizabeth

That big, bold die cut and the well-placed sequins really bring the party to life. I like the way you've added words to the layers of the horse.

Well, that pinata is the cutest thing ever! What a fun diecut and your festive colors really make this a standout! I think I need a taco now!
