The Paper Players PP698 - A Color Challenge from Jaydee

Join us! It is COLOR week at The Paper Players.  Jaydee is challenging us to use the colors BLACK, GRAY, RED and WHITE in our cards.   This week, I used a simple heart background stencil in red, various heat embossed sentiments in black, and a small paper airplane in soft gray.  A simple card but a fun way to say hi! Of course, I could have made it more CAS by leaving off the the background stencil.  As always, the card was finished off with a few sequins.

Keeping with my 2024 New Year resolution, I made four copies of this card.  These cards will be donated to the First Presbyterian Women, an organization supporting and sharing with the congregation, friends, and guests; building faith, changing lives, and sharing christ.  Our correspondence secretary is great about sending out notes to members.

Elizabeth, this is such a happy card! The red heart stencil is just perfect! The paper airplane made me smile. Fun memories from childhood. The big, bold sentiment just pops! Thank you for making all those cards for a wonderful charity, too!

Super sweet! I like the way you've taken colours that could be heavy, yet made them light and airy. Very clever.

Your overall design still feels CAS even with the heart stencil in the background, which looks fabulous btw! I'm crazy about fonts and the large sentiment you used really caught my eye - it is a beauty! Keeping up with your commitment to make multiples for donation is so wonderful Elizabeth! And what a worthy cause as well. Love every bit of this card!
