Carol Mayne is hosting MOODBOARD week at Just Us Girls. This week, incorporate one or more elements from the picture above in your card. I focused on blue butterflies. I made a simple card using DSP and die cuts. I have had this beautiful butterfly for some time. I tend to hoard the papers I love...do you?
Continuing with my New Year's resolution, I made 3 additional cards for donation. These cards will be donated to the First Presbyterian Women, an organization supporting and sharing with the congregation, friends, and guests; building faith, changing lives, and sharing christ.
Check out our fabulous guest designer for June, Jane Taylor. Please welcome her and check out her fabulous work over at Instagram (http://www.instagram.com/purplejetjt/).
Also check out the design team. These ladies work hard to inspire you each week. Drop by their blogs and leave them a little love.
Also, we have created a longer timeframe for our challenges! Wednesdays at 6:00 pm EST will be our new ending time in order to give you another day to get your cards in the gallery! The Winner of the Week will be announced now on Thursdays, an hour before the new challenges open.
Enjoy! I am looking forward to your inspired creations in the gallery.

Such pretty paper. That cover plate looks great on top of it it also.
Love the blue you picked out of the moodboard and the pretty patterned paper!
That's some pretty paper! Wonderful card, Elizabeth. Loved all you made while I was away. The Polka dot balloon is especially cute!
STUNNING!!!!! Love that you made so many! I try to make more than one as well.

I love that cover plate paired with the pretty butterflies! The bold hugs paired with the pretty blue butterfly is the perfect addition to not detract from that pretty background.
The stark white cover plate cut over that gorgeous butterfly patterned paper in those dark blues looks wonderful. The large butterfly is well placed alson tieh the "hugs" die cut. Love that you picked up the dark blue from the board. Great card!
As much as I'm sure you hated to use it, your butterfly paper looks fabulous behind that wonderful die cut, Elizabeth.
You've created beautiful, inspiring cards with your butterfly paper and die cuts. Lovely, all!
