This week, Christmas Card Throwdown is challenging us to use the colors PALE BLUE AND RED on our cards. I used one of two stencils from Waffle Flower's Layered Poinsettias. I have struggled a bit with this stencil set in thinking about how it should be used. I stenciled in red and then added a layer of transparent paste for sparkle. Using gold ink, I added the flower centers. The pale blue appears in the form of pearls and gems.
Be sure to drop by and see the inspiration cards made by all the design team members and leave them some love!
Enjoy. I can't wait to see your creations in the gallery.
