Nifty Nancy is hosting COLOR week at Just Us Girls. Nancy would like us to use the colors PINK and YELLOW in our card creations this week. I love this color combination! so I made two cards. The petals of the top stenciled card were inked using only one color (Distress Spun Sugar) with varying amounts of pressure and layering. The second card base was distressed in Squeezed Lemonade, then stenciled in Kitsch Flamingo DOX. Small droplets of glossy accents were added to each flower center.
Claire Apostoloff is our fabulous guest designer for May. Please welcome her and check out her fabulous work at Life on the Scrap Heap!
Also check out the design team. These ladies work hard to inspire you each week. Drop by their blogs and leave them a little love.
Enjoy! I am looking forward to your inspired creations in the gallery.

Super fun! Love the big ole flowers
Elizabeth, your card makes me want to order that stencil! What a fun style of flowers and the same with the sentiment. Those pink pearls go so well with the soft feeling of the card too! Great inspiration for our followers!
Such lovely bold colourful cards Elizabeth.
I love those big pink daisies and how you varied the color of pink, Elizabeth. The other card almost looks like fabric that would make a cute little girls dress.
A duo of pretty, indeed. Crushing over the big bold blooms and the sweet little posies. Definitely smile-making cards in every way.

Both cards are fabulous! I love how you stenciled those pretty daisies and getting the varying shades just by pressure - beautiful! It will definitely make the recipient smile! Your second card is so sweet with all of those little, delicate flowers, too.
I love both of your cards! That daisy one is amazing! I love how bold it is and the sentiment is a perfect match.
