TIME OUT #234 — Inspired by Words

This week,
Time Out is challenging us to be inspired by these WORDS:  “It was one of those March days when the sun shines hot and the wind blows cold: when it is summer in the light, and winter in the shade.” — Charles Dickens, Great Expectations

I love these words but struggled to decide which way to take my card.  Spring or winter? I decided to use a late winter picture taken at Bishop's Garden, National Cathedral, Washington D.C., and focus on the end of winter.

We are happy to be sponsored by Topflight Stamps this challenge! In addition to the sponsor prize, the winner will also guest design in a future challenge. Be sure to check out this week's Guest Designer, as well as the wonderful inspiration provided by the design team! Drop by their blogs and leave them a little love.

Enjoy!  I am looking forward to your inspired creations in the gallery.

Absolutely brilliant card, Elizabeth! I have a window die & now I think I'll add the shutters to my wishlist! Love that you used one of your photos! Very honored to have been the GD for this challenge!

What a fantastic idea to use this wonderful photo in creating your card. I love the view through the window, and perfect timing with that sentiment! Just in time for Spring to arrive. I love it!

Good bye is right, Elizabeth. The photo is lovely and looks great seen through the window.

What a brilliant idea, love the wintry scene outside the window with that sentiment, it sums up how I feel about winter perfectly. I am so glad to see the end of it. Clocks go forward for us this weekend, that's a milestone in the year xx

So beautiful! Such a creative and brilliant take on the challenge,

Thank you for your kind comment on my win for the TO Elegant challenge. I am unable to leave a thank you to the TO team comment on the TO blog… Google made changes that restricted commenting for some blogs, so comment settings need to be adjusted. 🤷🏻‍♀️
