Just Us Girls #620 -- COLOR Week

The ingenious Ina is hosting COLOR week at Just Us Girls.  Ina would like to see cards made from DARK BROWN, ORANGE AND TEAL (neutrals welcome).  My dark brown card base was embossed.  A dark brown square panel was die cut 3x and layered, on top of which the sentiment was white embossed. The orange flowers were die cut from white cardstock sprayed with several orange inks (for a bit of texture!).  The other leaves and branches were die cut from colored cardstock.  Two eyelets were inserted into the square panel, through which the ribbon was pulled.  Can you believe I had teal and brown ribbon in my stash?!  The bouquet was assembled and glued down, the ribbon tied.  The square panel is foam mounted on the card base.  The final touch was crystal Stickles on the berry branches.

Please check out the design team.  These ladies work hard to inspire you each week.  Drop by their blogs and leave them a little love.

Enjoy!  I am looking forward to your color creations in the galley.

Oh my, I love the textured dark brown background, Elizabeth. It really shows off the colored die cuts, which are lovely too. And yes that ribbon was a great find.

I love your mostly brown card with the pop of orange and teal die cuts, which really does show them off beautifully. Great texture and a fun find in your stash with the co-ordinating ribbon. A striking card and I love it x.

I love your pretty bouquet. That brown piece looks so cool against the brown embossed panel. Very pretty card.
