This week at The Paper Players, we are working with a layered sketch. I decided to make a continuous inked background, cut into thirds, to meet the sketch requirements rather than layer patterned paper. I stamped the New York city line from Altenew's Sketchy Cities on an A2 panel in Versafine Onyx. I stamped the image again on masking paper and fussy cut in order to distress. The panel was distressed in Picked Raspberry, Wilted Violet and Black Soot, then trimmed, cut into thirds, and foam mounted to the card base.
On scrap cardstock, I distress Squeezed Lemonade, Wild Honey and Festive Berries, then die cut a circle to fit the center image. The Santa sleigh and sentiment are from Essentials by Ellen Santa's Flight, stamped in Versafne, and adhered.
Happy Holidays.
