Both Shopping Our Stash and The Male Room are challenging us with CHRISTMAS IN JULY this month. I made two Christmas cards with "old" sets that could be sent to a male. The card featured in this post is a layered die cut. Like my last post, this Tim Holtz Sizzix set has been in my stash because I was not ready to spend the time needed to die cut and Copic-color all the small pieces. But I am so glad I had the drive to put this scene together for these two challenges.
The background panel was embossed with Alexandra Renke's Snowfall folder. A vellum snowdrift was added to the bottom of the panel to anchor the images. The sentiment is white embossed from Mama Elephant Mini Merry Messages. A small drop of gold Stickles to light the lantern finished the card.
I love how this card turned out as well. Enjoy.
