TIME OUT Challenge #190

The photo inspiration at TIME OUT, this week, feels like summertime in the Catskills to me.  The photo highlights a building with wonderfully COLORED STRIPES.  The Fern Cliff Hotel, long closed, was a "Dirty Dancing" type resort in the 1960s.  As kids, we loved to go there.  Moms would drive up at the start of the week and Dads would join on the weekends.  The Fern Cliff had an Irish bar on the premises that featured an exterior of pastel colored stripes.  What a round about way to get to my card!  I used Altenew's Rainbow striped washi for the background.  From there, I created a birthday card with a Mama Elephant birthday sentiment and small copic-colored critters from My Favorite Things Birthday Buds.

Enjoy.

It's such a cute card and I can see how you were inspired by the photo of the challenge. Great way to incorporate stripes and use the cute critters. Thank you for taking time out and joining us. Hugs ~ Ishani.

Those stripes really add a fun vibe to this birthday card - prefect paired with those sweet critters and bold greeting! Thanks so much for playing along with us at TIME OUT!
