Just Us Girls #817 -- DIE Week

Join us! It is DIE week at Just Us Girls.  Sue is challenging us to make a card using dies incorporating SPRING or EASTER.  I love inlay dies, and this one from A Pocketful of Happiness is wonderful.  I selected bright spring colors, then mixed and matched the pieces to create four cards. This inlay die does have some waste. Numerous pieces from the yellow, pink, and purple A2 sheets were discarded.  In general, I use a dryer sheet behind each die cut to keep the pieces together. I line the background panels with 4.25" Scortape, then reinsert all the small pieces...a simple process. The final touches are a layered sentiment and hot pink gems.

Check out our fabulous guest designer for April, Rosemary Dennis. Please welcome her and check out her fabulous work over at Hey There...rosigirl!

Also check out the design team.  These ladies work hard to inspire you each week.  Drop by their blogs and leave them a little love.

Enjoy!  I am looking forward to your inspired creations in the gallery.

Elizabeth
