Join us! It is WORD week at Just Us Girls. I am your host this week and am challenging you to draw inspiration from the word ENCOURAGEMENT in your card creations.
As many of you know, I support Friends After Diagnosis (a local cancer support group) with cards that counselors and aides send to patients and survivors in the group. So I love making encouragement cards. This week is no exception; I made a dozen of the above card. This is a new stamp from Stampingbella, Copic-colored and fussy-cut. I mounted the image atop scrap pink papers and added a layered "here for you" sentiment. The final touch was several rhinestones.
Meet our featured guest designer for January 2026, Laurel Seabrook. Please welcome her and check out her fabulous work at Seabrook Designs.
Also, check out the design team. These ladies work hard to inspire you each week. Drop by their blogs and leave them a little love.
Enjoy! I am looking forward to your inspired creations in the gallery.

What a great card. Love the background too
Great way to use the pink scraps and wonderful coloring! The perfect card for support staff to give to a client!
Love the artsy feel that this wonderful encouragement card has! Thanks so much for the lovely comment you left me.
She is adorable Elizabeth and beautifully coloured. Love the wonky background. Sentiment is just perfect! A wonderful cause.
Your encouragement card is beautiful and will certainly be well-received by the dozen recipients who need to know they're not alone. Your colouring and card design: uplifting.
