The Paper Players PP766 - A Tic Tac Toe Challenge from Claire

Join us! It is Tic Tac Toe week at The Paper Players.  Claire is challenging us to create a card that incorporates a row, column or diagonal from the TIC TAC TOE board.  I chose the last column: VINTAGE, PATTERNED PAPER, and SPARKLE.  I think the DSP I chose is sooo vintage... it screams 1950s to me.  The font of the sentiment also seems vintage to me.  The sentiment is layered, in silver Mirricard.  The final addition was two vintage ornaments from Simply Graphic, die cut from Stardream metallic cardstock, and for more sparkle, I added a couple of gems.

Check out our fabulous design team.  These ladies work hard to inspire you each week.  Drop by their blogs and leave them a little love.

Here's a quick recap of our challenge rules:

1.  Create a new paper project
2.  Upload your creation to your blog with a link back to us and provide a direct link to the post featuring your challenge submission.
3.  Please link your card to no more than four challenges in total.

Enjoy!  I am looking forward to your inspired creations in the gallery.

Elizabeth

Elizabeth, your card shouts vintage! I LOVE IT! The DSP is just perfect and I agree, the font is perfect for this vibe. The whacky die adds texture and the two beautiful ornaments are so pretty! Thank you for making my challenge shine! Have a wonderful week. My Friend!

Oh, WOW, Elizabeth! This patterned paper is retro to the max, in both color and design. It is the perfect backdrop for the ornaments. The font is definitely vintage, too. The entire card looks like a creation from the early '60's. It makes this Retro Lover smile from ear-to-ear. Have a wonderful week!
