Join us! It is SKETCH week at The Paper Players. Ann is challenging us to create a card that uses the sketch above. This sketch features a center section with three panels, and large margins all the way around.
Ann is so very good at sketches, and I just want to simplify them. As I thought about the sketch this week, I decided to streamline the three panels. I used the Joy stamp from Pretty Pink Posh, gold embossing the image on three colors of cardstock (allowing three cards to be made). I die cut the letters, then layered three times for dimension. I cut three panels (1.5" x 2.75") from the same colors used for the letters. I mounted the layered letters on each small panel then mounted to a black cardbase. I heat embossed a small sub-sentiment in gold under the three panels, and to finish, I added some glitter dots.
Check out our fabulous design team. These ladies work hard to inspire you each week. Drop by their blogs and leave them a little love.

Elizabeth, this is fabulous! The black card base is so unexpected and makes the beautiful JOY pop! The colors you selected are lovely and all the gold embossing adds and elegant feel to your card! I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving week, My Friend!
