The Paper Players PP764 - A CAS Challenge from Stef

Join us! It is Clean and Simple (CAS) week at The Paper Players.  Think lots of white space, minimal layers and embellishments.  Stef is challenging us to create a CAS card that uses our favorite holiday image. You might think FaLaLa is an odd favorite but I have a full size cling background with falala (Essentials by Ellen), an A2 coverplate covered with small Fa La Las (Neat & Tangled), numerous small fa la fa stamp sets, and I have the Fa La La above from The Stamp Market.  I seem to seem to have a small obsession with this Christmas song.

For this card, I die cut 1/2" strips from two red and two green cardstocks. I created A2 panels of strips by laying strips one at a time across a Scortape-covered panel.  I die cut the coverplate from white cardstock, retaining the die cut letters for a second card.  To finish, I stamped a small sub-sentiment, and added several glitter stars. I made six copies of this card.

Check out our fabulous design team.  These ladies work hard to inspire you each week.  Drop by their blogs and leave them a little love.

Here's a quick recap of our challenge rules:

1.  Create a new paper project
2.  Upload your creation to your blog with a link back to us and provide a direct link to the post featuring your challenge submission.
3.  Please link your card to no more than four challenges in total.

Enjoy!  I am looking forward to your inspired creations in the gallery.

Elizabeth

Elizabeth, your FaLaLa card is absolutely fantastic! I think the phrase is definitely a top iconic image during Christmas, and this big one, with all the stripes, is simply amazing and so festive! Fabulous card, my dear!
