Just Us Girls #796 -- WORD Week

Join us! It is WORD week at Just Us Girls.  Sue is challenging us to take inspiration from the word HALLOWEEN in our card creations this week.

I made four copies of this simple halloween card.  The halloween faces are a cover die. I die cut the coverplate from glossy black cardstock and orange glitter cardstock.  When I die cut the coverplate, I was careful to use a dryer sheet behind the cardstock so I could retain all the face pieces.  I inlaid the black glossy face pieces into the die cut of the orange glitter cardstock, and the orange glitter pieces into the black glossy cardstock. I love when you get two for one out of a piece of cardstock.  The sentiment is die cut from black glossy cardstock and backed in vellum.

Check out our fabulous guest designer for October, Greta Hess. Please welcome her and check out her fabulous work over at GG Creations

What a fun coverplate for Halloween! You are so smart to put the dryer sheet (I did not know this trick) behind so the faces could be kept in place. Such a fun card!!!

Your glittery jack o' lantern faces are spooky fun - and how wonderful to get a twofer from the cover plate. Halloween fabulous!

Absolutely fabulous! I love all of those sparkly inlaid pieces to create your background and love that glossy sentiment on the vellum, too.

Twofers are always great, especially when they glitter and shine. Great card, Elizabeth.

This is AMAZING! What a fun cover plate! You have more patience than I do to reassemble all those pieces! Kudos to you!
