Just Us Girls #795 -- DIE Week

Join us! It is DIE week at Just Us Girls.  Bobby is challenging us to make a card using LEAF dies.

I picked an older cover die from Altenew and inlaid all the pieces.  I just love the final look of an inlaid card.  First, I made an 8.5 x 11" sprayed panel.  If you spray a panel, get a big box and just go for it... spray the panel with all the fall colors you have.  I used metallic sprays in red, orange, yellow, green, purple and gold from Distress, Dylusions and Heidi Swapp.  After quartering the panel, I die cut the cover plate four times, and inlaid into four different bases.  The look is so different with the different backgrounds (from left gold, brown, dark gold and copper Stardream card bases).  A layered, die cut sentiment and glitter dots finished the cards.

Check out our fabulous guest designer for October, Greta Hess. Please welcome her and check out her fabulous work over at GG Creations

Also check out the design team.  These ladies work hard to inspire you each week.  Drop by their blogs and leave them a little love.

You are the inlay queen, Elizabeth, and the sprays gave wonderful color to your leaves. I have a plastic box that makes spray clean-up easy.
