Join us! It is TIC TAC TOE week at The Paper Players. Joanne is challenging us to create a card that incorporates a row, column or diagonal from the Tic Tac Toe board above. I focused on the middle row: bright colors, free, and enamel dots. I don't own any enamel dots but I made acrylic dots from pony beads. I baked vertical beads on parchment paper for 30 minutes @ 285°. Pony beads melt into perfect little domes. There are a number of YouTube videos on the process if you would like to give it a try.
I made a "Florida" card. My neighbor reminds me every morning when he sees me out with my dog that we "are livin' the dream". We are. I love Florida. So I made a sweet beach scene with bright umbrellas topped with enamel dots. Also added several brightly colored fish as a finished touch!

Elizabeth...I love how you did the sand and the sea! And I love the bright beach umbrellas of course!
So pretty and what a great idea to use the pony beads. I love every creative detail, Elizabeth!
The beach umbrellas are so fun and I'm impressed with your creativity in making your own enamel dots, Elizabeth! Cute, cute scene!
What a cute beach scene you have created, Elizabeth! I love the colorful umbrellas. The sea and sand pattern paper are so fun, and I love how you embossed the sentiment on the sand. Thanks for the tip about making dots from pony beads. I can't wait to give it a try. Have a wonderful week!
Winter seems to have been going of forever, so this cheerful beach scene gave me a real smile this morning. Those bold umbrellas are wonderful. :-)
So clever Elizabeth, has a real holiday in the sun vibe! Sorry you couldn't get the stencil, apparently our post office will not ship to the US from 1st September because of the tarriffs. :(
