Just Us Girls #790 -- ANYTHING GOES STENCIL Week

Join us! It is ANYTHING GOES STENCIL week at Just Us Girls.  Carol Mayne is challenging us to use a stencil in our card creations this week.  The stencil I used for the above card is from a fairly new-to-me stencil source, Killer Zebras.  I have bought several of their stencils and love all of them so far.  Killer Zebras is a cookie decorating site that sells cookie cutters, cookie decorating supplies, and cookie stencils.  Cookie stencils are made of the same material and are slightly smaller (5.5" x 5.5"), but cheaper, than most cardmaking stencils.

I stenciled the three layers of these sweet giraffes. Since the stencil panel is slightly smaller than an A2 card, I trimmed and layered for adhering to the card base.  The sentiment is die cut and layered on vellum.  So simple. I made a dozen of these cards for donation to the First Baptist New Mother Initiative at my hometown hospital. First Baptist women put together baby baskets for every new mother, and a personal wish is added to each card.

Check out our fabulous guest designer for August, Julie Beech. Please welcome her and check out her fabulous work over at Crafted by Jules

Adorable card with the "killer zebras" that at first I thought was the name of the stencil. Read it again and realized it is the store name. Your card brought a smile and that is all we can ask, right? Cute as can be!
