Just Us Girls #788 -- WORD Week

Join us! It is WORD week at Just Us Girls.  I am your hostess this week and am challenging us to take inspiration from the word BIRTHDAY in our card creations this week.  I always need birthday cards so I am thrilled when I can easily make duplicates.  I used the Concord & 9th Party Hats Inlay die. When I bought this die, the free gift was a small pack of colored cardstock.  I used the six colors below for my cards. Here's what I love about this die, there is no waste.  I die cut the panel out of the chosen colors (backed with a doubled dryer sheet).  I peeled off the outline from each color, and backed each with 4.25" scoretape, and adhered to card bases.  Then I simply inserted the elements from each dryer sheet into the card bases.  So easy! The sentiment is layered, topped with gold Mirricard and backed in vellum.  The final touch was lots of micro green gems.

A delightful array of party hat cards made all the more wonderful in being easy to inlay and reproduce. Lots of smiles to be had when the lucky birthday folks receive these in the mail.
