Join us! It is WORD week at Just Us Girls. Vicki is challenging us to take inspiration from the word WATER in our card creations this week. I made this environmentally inspired card using a new word die by Essentials by Ellen, and My Favorite Things' water stencil. By rotating this MFT stencil, I think you truly get a sense of water and movement. I rotated the stencil three times to achieve the look on this card, same ink each rotation. I die cut the sentiment from the panel saving the letters to make a negative card as well. The sentiment was again die cut from opal Stardream metallic cardstock and inlaid on the card front. A simple card that takes just a bit of time and organization to complete two for one.
I made a dozen cards for ORCA (Ocean Research & Conservation Association). ORCA is a local organization dedicated to the protection and restoration of aquatic ecosystems and the species they sustain through the development of innovative technologies, science based conservation action, and community education and outreach. They are doing important work improving the health of Florida's intercoastal waterway and the survival rate of Florida's manatees.

What a creative way to convey the movement of water with your stencil and the importance of water through your sentiment. This is wonderful.
