Just Us Girls #782 -- DIE Week

Join us! It is
DIE week at Just Us Girls.  Carol Mc is challenging us to make a SUMMER card using dies.   Being from Florida... I love making warm weather cards.  Thankfully it is hard to relate to snow from the beach.

I used a fun die set from Spellbinders for this card.  I love this set because it is perfect for scraps.  The small scene of the bather and her accessories can be made as one piece.  This set is very easy to assemble (some Sizzix sets require me to watch a YouTube video!).  I made five of this card solely for personal use to entice friends to get away and visit in those cold northern months.

I used a wave border to create the background; die cutting the "water" and stamped "sand" into nestable shapes.  The sentiment is white embossed. I had to add this particular sentiment.  My neighbor asks me every morning when I am out... "are you livin the dream?"

Check out our wonderful guest designer for July, Donna Mikasa. Please welcome her and check out her fabulous work over at 3Umbrellas

Also check out the design team.  These ladies work hard to inspire you each week.  Drop by their blogs and leave them a little love.

I forgot that I have this set, purchased during one of SB's clearance sales. I love how you pieced together a wonderful summery scene, and that cobalt ocean is stunning!
