Join us! It is SKETCH week at The Paper Players. This week I am challenging you to create a ONE LAYER card, that is no added layers, die cuts or borders. Minimal embellishments. Think CAS.
For my card, I decided to pull out some old stamps that were needing some love. Does anyone remember Karen Lockhart stamps? I loved them. They are perfect for coloring. I made a half dozen of the get well card above for donation. The image and sentiment were stamped directly on the card base and Copic colored. To give the jar a bit of dimension, I covered the area in Glossy Accents. Easy peasy... I love one layer cards!

LOL, this little "germ" would make anyone feel better, and give them a giggle at the same time! Great challenge, I loved it!
One layer and CAS - very cleverly done. And who doesn't love a pun? :-)
Your punny one layer is fab Elizabeth - and who wouldn't want a bug as colourful as that?! Great challenge choice this week!
I have a few Karen Lockhart wood stamps, but not this cutie! You've colored him up so perfectly and I love the punny sentiment. Adding the Glossy Accents is the perfect way to go for glass. Thanks for the great challenge, Elizabeth - it pushed me out of my comfort zone but made me see how fun it is and something to look forward to trying again in the future!
Oh my gosh...what an adorable image! I love the way you have colored him. What a fun pun! Thank you for a challenge which definitely took me outside of my comfort zone.
Elizabeth, this card just made me laugh. What a great get well card and a wonderful one-layer creation.
