The Paper Players PP738 - A Clean and Simple Challenge from Stef

Join us! It is CLEAN and SIMPLE week at The Paper Players.  Think lots of white space, minimal layers and embellishments. Stef is challenging us to create a CAS card that features THINGS THAT FLY (e.g., bird, plane, bee, butterfly, etc.).

Today's cards (6) were made for a woman who adores butterflies! She is the correspondence secretary for the First Presbyterian Women, an organization supporting and sharing with the congregation, friends, and guests; building faith, changing lives, and sharing christ.

I used one of my favorite products over the last 10 years... die cut washi from Pinkfresh.  I love the colors and foil accents, and they are just so easy to design with.  I die cut a dotted rectangle frame on the cardbase and laid out the elements.  Before adhering the butterflies and leaves, I stamped the primary and secondary sentiments. Final step was a few silver glitter dots. Easy peasy.

Check out our fabulous design team.  These ladies work hard to inspire you each week.  Drop by their blogs and leave them a little love.

Here's a quick recap of our challenge rules:

1.  Create a new paper project
2.  Upload your creation to your blog with a link back to us and provide a direct link to the post featuring your challenge submission.
3.  Please link your card to no more than four challenges in total.Enjoy!  I am looking forward to your inspired creations in the gallery.

Elizabeth

Those washi butterflies are amazing! So much detail! The white background of the card keeps the CAS feel to it as well!
