The Paper Players PP731 - A Tic Tac Toe Challenge from Leanne

Join us! It is TIC TAC TOE week at The Paper Players.  Leanne is challenging you to use the tic tac toe board below in your card creations.  Pick three consecutive elements vertically, horizontally, or diagonally.

I chose the first column: Flowers, Diecut, and Lavender.  I thought Kristina Werner's new Cheerful Flowers set would be perfect.  The stencil that comes with the set is large and covers a 5.5"x8.5" panel, creating two A2 panels at once.  I made two full panels heavy on lavender (yielding four cards for my donation stash).  If you put the top card alongside the card below, you can see the full stenciled pattern.  To complete, I added a layered die cut sentiment backed in vellum.  Of course, I added a few gems too.  No card is complete without gems!

Check out our design team.  These ladies work hard to inspire you each week.  Drop by their blogs and leave them a little love.

Here's a quick recap of our challenge rules:

1.  Create a new paper project
2.  Upload your creation to your blog with a link back to us and provide a direct link to the post featuring your challenge submission.
3.  Please link your card to no more than four challenges in total.

Enjoy!  I am looking forward to your inspired creations in the gallery.

Elizabeth

Elizabeth, this is the best stencil! I would love to play with your supplies! All that lavender makes me smile! The color combo is fantastic and the bold sentiment just pops in white! I love it!

I saw that stencil when it came out and was a bit meh about it, but in your hands, it made some absolutely gorgeous cards, Elizabeth! I love how bold the flowers are, and the lavender really pops against the background colors. Just fabulous!
