The Paper Players PP730 - A Sketch Challenge from Ann

Join us! It is SKETCH week at The Paper Players.  Ann is challenging us to create a card that uses the sketch above.  Looking at the sketch, I decided feature some beautiful DSP that I picked up at Amazon (manufacturer unknown).  The sketch indicates an inner border, a round object and a sentiment.  I used a rectangle outline die to create the inner border; again maximizing a view of the DSP.  I chose a chunky sentiment that would fit in a circle if needed.  The sentiment is layered and white to make it pop against the background.  A white embossed sub sentiment was added to finish the design.

I made 5 additional cards for donation to Friends After Diagnosis, an organization supporting cancer patients.  In addition to their many patient programs, therapy and service, staff members often send messages of support to local patients.

Check out our fabulous design team.  These ladies work hard to inspire you each week.  Drop by their blogs and leave them a little love.

Here's a quick recap of our challenge rules:

1.  Create a new paper project
2.  Upload your creation to your blog with a link back to us and provide a direct link to the post featuring your challenge submission.
3.  Please link your card to no more than four challenges in total.

Enjoy!  I am looking forward to your inspired creations in the gallery.

Elizabeth

What stunning paper, Elizabeth! It's a perfect backdrop for this bold sentiment. The thin, rectangular frame allows the beauty of the paper to take the spotlight. Thank you for the gorgeous inspiration card for my sketch challenge this week!

Well, that's some fabulous paper, Elizabeth! I love the bold colors and the design almost reminds me of a post-Impressionist painting. The bold sentiment works so perfectly with the bold background. Gorgeous card!
