Join us! It is DIE week at Just Us Girls. Carol M is challenging us to dies this week to create BIRTHDAY cards.
You might recognize this Spellbinders die set as Christmas. I decided I would try to extend these dies into the birthday category! I think changing up red and green for pinks and lime green, and a birthday sentiment, creates a new feel for this set. The set comes with a small candle but the pieces are very small and I was unable to adhere them (with my arthritis). I attached the duo to an embossed card front, added a layered sentiment, and stickles for shine. As always, I made four multiples of this card for donation to Little Birthday Angels, a local agency who ensures every child, who might not otherwise, has a birthday celebration.
Check out our fabulous guest designer for March, Jeanne Jachna. Please welcome her and check out her fabulous work over at A Kept Life!
Also check out the design team. These ladies work hard to inspire you each week. Drop by their blogs and leave them a little love.
Here's a quick recap of our challenge rules:
1. Create a new paper project (no back dating please)
2. Upload your card to your blog or a public photo gallery. Please copy and use our challenge graphic on your post.
3. Link your project in Linky Tools directly to your card. If your card is in an online gallery, please tag with the current challenge number, e.g. JUGS123
4. Please limit your entries for our challenge to three. You may enter in as many other challenges as you want.
Enjoy! I am looking forward to your inspired creations in the gallery.
