Join us! It is COLOR week at The Paper Players. Claire is challenging us to use the colors Magenta, Purple, Turquoise and Orange in our cards. WOW...what a color combination. I struggle with color challenges but I think I nailed this one! I used Taylored Expressions Four Seasons stamp and stencil. Above, the stem background is stamped in black on Neenah Classic Creast Cream. I used distress inks to stencil the leaves, Peacock Feathers, Carved Orange, Picked Raspberry and Wilted Violet. Final touch was a layered sentiment backed with vellum.
Continuing with my New Year's resolution, I made 4 additional cards for donation to Friends After Diagnosis, an organization supporting cancer patients. In addition to their many patient programs, therapy and service, staff members often send messages of support to local patients. In making these duplicates, I varied the paper to see the effects. Although not clear in the photo, I tried Neenah Solar Crest, Hammermill, Simon Says Stamp Fog cardstock.
1. Create a new paper project
3. Please link your card to no more than four challenges in total.
Enjoy! I am looking forward to your inspired creations in the gallery.

Yowza, Elizabeth! You nailed this challenge for sure. The stenciled background is absolutely amazing. Who wouldn't love to find this day brightener in their mail! Have a wonderful week!
That is one masterclass in stencilling! The colours are perfect for it and your amazing die cut word collection is in action again!
What a fantastic card, Elizabeth! The colors work so perfectly for the fall leaves and the simple large sentiment still takes center stage despite the bright color palette. Gorgeous!
I couldn't WAIT to comment on this card...it's stunning! You managed to get all those colors into this beautiful fall card and they work together perfectly! Kudos to you!
