Join us! It is theme week at The Paper Players. I am your host and am challenging everyone to illustrate GIVING THANKS in your cards. Thanksgiving is around the corner, your card can celebrate the holiday, or you could make a thank you card for your stash. This week, incorporate GIVING THANKS.
I made two of the above Thanksgiving cards for family members. This card uses a new set from Honey Bee. Putting this card together is not for the faint of heart. I loved the pumpkin maze when it came out, however I never looked at the detail of how it would be put together. I began by spraying a full sheet of Neenah Solar Crest and Desert Storm with orange and green sprays respectively. I used distress and mica sprays in several variations of orange and green. Then I began die cutting... and die cutting. This card is heavily layered... one of the pumpkins has six layers! So prepare for "gluey" fingers. I must say I love the end result. To finish the card, I foam mounted a layered sentiment in matte gold with a vellum background.
1. Create a new paper project
3. Please link your card to no more than four challenges in total.
Enjoy! I am looking forward to your inspired creations in the gallery.
