Carol Mc is challenging us to draw inspiration from the mood board above this week at Just Us Girls. I love picture and mood board challenges. For today's challenge, I focused on the red mittens in the center and the cup of cocoa in the upper left. Although I changed the cup to a "to go", rather than cocoa (the whipped cream was too much). I created a background of glossy white snowflakes. then layered on my red mittens and coffee cup, and finally added a layered, silver sentiment and a few sequins.
Check out our fabulous guest designer for November, Jenn Borjeson. Please welcome her and check out her fabulous work over at Stampin Angel Jenn!

Enjoy! I am looking forward to your inspired creations in the gallery.

So fun! Sentiment is perfect with the coffee cup. Great inspired card
Elizabeth, you used a lot of things from the moodboard and ended up with a cozy, festive card!
This is a great card, Elizabeth. I love the kraft, red and white color scheme. That silver sentiment is fabulous. My hands are warm just looking at this!
Beautiful to-go cup and mittens combination; they certainly pop against the snowy background. Red and kraft is such a wonderful pairing. It's -20C here and snowing like crazy; staying cozy inside for the next while...

Gorgeous Elizabeth. Love the background and that coffee mug would be too nice to throw out eh!
Fabulous take on our Mood Board! I love that warm beverage with the mittens and that background is awesome! That bold, silver die cut sentiment was the perfect choice.
This is a beautifully designed card, Elizabeth. The heart paper for the cup, the frosty snowflakes, the red mittens. They all look fabulous together.
Just love this perfect winter card!
